A flower says more than a thousand words… The symbolic use of flowers has given rise to the language of flowers, or hanakotoba (花言葉)—a beautiful way to express emotions and sentiments without words.Throughout history, different flowers have been imbued with meaning, shaping our collective imagination. Some, like the red rose symbolizing 'love' and 'romance' or forget-me-nots representing 'true love,' are widely recognized, while others remain lesser known. With that in mind, we want to provide you with some useful resources for inspiration and clarification of what we mean when we refer to flower language.
